Editing Service.

I am a published author of four novels, and I understand how important it is to have your manuscript as perfect as it can be.

I offer a full editorial service at very competitive prices. I look for everything you would expect your editor at a publishers to look for, from spelling and punctuation errors, story flow, pace and fact checks, to full re-writes.  

Your writing is often the first or only means of contact between you and the agent or publisher you are pursuing.  Therefore, your writing must be proofread or edited to ensure it is clear, error free, and catches their attention.

While making every effort to ensure that your writing is error-free, I also try to maintain the integrity of the author's voice and personal writing style. My job is not to replace your voice with mine, but to work with your natural style to make sure it reads clearly and flows smoothly, for the best effect.

Your document is edited using the ‘track changes’ function of Microsoft Word. This is a standard function installed in most versions of Microsoft Word. This function allows you to move easily between changes and accept any or all of the modifications proposed by the proofreader. Corrections, suggestions and comments are shown in the right-hand margin and are easy to accept into your document.

Prices

I charge £0.50 per page for the full editorial service. So if your novel is 100 pages long in Microsoft word, the total cost would be £50.00. If you live outside of the UK, we will use the latest currency conversion to determine the costs.

I also offer discounts on multiple submissions; these range between 10-25%.

Discounts.

1 manuscript = full price.

2 manuscripts = 10% discount

3 manuscripts = 20% discount

4+ manuscripts = 25% discount.
